Four Nature Lovers and a Cat

Every garden in Trinidad has a cat. Not always a cat you know; sometimes a cat you’re just borrowing for the afternoon. This piece is a small, gentle one — four friends and one small feline supervisor, all agreeing that the plants are the point.

I made it with a lighter hand than some of the other work in this collection. The threads are quieter. The mood is Saturday morning, coffee, someone laughing at something you didn’t quite hear.

At 17×11 in and US$429, this is a piece for a kitchen wall, a reading corner, a small room that already has good light. It doesn’t demand attention; it just makes wherever it hangs feel a little more like company.
